Visual Arts
The Weiss School features a well-respected visual arts program where students experience two and three dimensional art studies which include art history and a variety of styles and methods. The uniqueness of the art created by The Weiss School students is well recognized by the community. Weiss students consistently place in area art shows such as Artigras. For students who wish to apply to The Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. School of the Arts following graduation, works are compiled into an impressive portfolio.

Music
Music Weiss students learn to play a variety of instruments, compose music and perform. Several times throughout the year, students perform throughout the community and within the school. Eighty percent of the students in grades two through eight are members of the four school bands. The two choruses are open to all students in the school. Students also have the opportunity to perform in two musical productions each year. The arts and music are integrated with the academic program, adding a new dimension to the sciences and humanities. Through music, Weiss students gain an appreciation for the performing arts and become dedicated and cultured young citizens. Students are well prepared for vocal and instrumental auditions into The Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. School of the Arts.

Academic and intellectual success is continually complemented by a well-rounded physical education program. A variety of indoor and outdoor activities through team sports is offered. The goal of the sports program is to instill the importance of regular physical activity, safety, and good sportsmanship. The Weiss School has an air conditioned gym area, outdoor basketball court, two fully equipped playgrounds, a 1/8 mile track, and a full size soccer field. The Weiss School is adjacent to the Palm Beach Gardens Community Center, which offers 3 swimming pools, a 1 mile jogging trail, racketball courts, and gymnasium.

Taekwondo
Taekwondo All K-8th students participate in Taekwondo. This Korean martial art is ideal for young children, giving them the freedom to advance at their own pace. The program helps children develop physical strength, self-control, and flexibility, as well as a strong sense of self-discipline, self-esteem, and responsibility. The Weiss School was the first school in the United States to include taekwondo in the daily curriculum. It is now the only accreditated academic taekwondo program in the country!
